Software
Test
Automation
Engineer.
As part of the Quality Assurance
team
you will support our
scrum teams
to
develop our products. These products form an ecosystem which includes
e
dge computing on our physical Handheld and Listener devices
and an online Portal
with cloud computing. With the growing success of
Sorama
, the products are growing in complexity and
product
quality
becomes
more and more
a focus point.

You will be working from our headquarters at Strijp-T, a 5-minute walk from the Eindhoven Strijp-S train station. Our office includes a chill balcony and an amazing rooftop, where we occasionally have BBQs and drinks.

Morning:
 
Start your day at our modern headquarters in Strijp-T, just a short walk from the Eindhoven Strijp-S train station. 
 
Grab a cup of excellent fresh coffee from our well-stocked kitchen and enjoy some fresh fruit to kick-start your morning. 
 
Join the cross-functional team huddle to discuss daily progress and goals, collaborating with your colleagues to exchange ideas and insights.
 
Immerse yourself in the world of software testing, focusing on developing and executing automated test scripts for our cutting-edge acoustic camera products.

 
Apply your proficiency in test automation tools and programming languages like C# with Selenium and RestSharp API’s to create robust and effective test scripts.

 
Support team members in their understanding of the automated testing methodologies.
 

Lunchtime:
 
Take a break and head to our chill balcony or venture up to the amazing rooftop. Breathe in the fresh air and enjoy your lunch in the vibrant atmosphere of our office. 

 
After finishing your lunch, you have the opportunity to embark on a refreshing outdoor walk alongside colleagues or engage in a lively game of FIFA, chess, exploding kittens, or other games with some of our game enthusiasts.

 

Afternoon:
 
Return to your workstation, invigorated and ready to continue developing and executing test plans and test cases.
 
Collaborate closely with colleagues and other teams to identify and resolve software defects, ensuring the quality of our software.
 
Participate in discussions about testing strategies, providing valuable insights to enhance the overall testing process and methodologies.
 
Enjoy the autonomy to work independently, while still benefiting from the support and collaboration of your small, multidisciplinary team. 
 

End of the Day:
 
Reflect on the progress made throughout the day, ensuring your testing efforts align with the project’s objectives and timelines.
 
Conclude any pending tasks, update documentation to reflect the latest testing information, and wrap up your work for the day.
 
Appreciate the satisfaction of leaving the office, knowing you have played a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our software.

What will be your responsibilities?

Develop and execute automated test scripts
 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects
 
Participate in the design and development of test plans and test cases
 
Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams
 
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
 

What we are looking for?

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
 
Prior experience as a software test engineer
 
Understanding of software testing methodologies
 
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
 
Strong communication and collaboration skills
