Electrical Engineer

The position

As an Electrical Engineer you work in a mechatronic team where you are jointly responsible for assembling the parts into one machine, such as a proofer, spiral tower or conveyor belt. Your work consists of cabling the various machines and connecting electrical components. You are also involved in building the switch cabinets and commissioning them on location at the customer (worldwide).

Your challenge

Kaak serves a global market, which means that as a technician you work internationally on different continents. This requires a high degree of independence and flexibility, and provides a lot of variety.

What do we expect from you?

• You have an MBO diploma in electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar;
• You are quality conscious, set high standards for your work and have good practical insight into solving problems;
• You are a team player who has good communication skills;
• The willingness to travel internationally, in good consultation, on average half of the year. This often concerns consecutive periods of two to four weeks;
• You have a reasonable command of the English and German spoken language.

What can you expect from us?

We offer you a good reward according to the Metalektro Collective Labor Agreement. Your basic salary will be between € 2,500 and € 3,600 gross, depending on education and experience. If you are on the road for Royal Kaak on an assembly job, you will also receive an assembly allowance (28%) on top of the salary. We also offer excellent secondary employment conditions, including: 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days, an excellent pension scheme, profit distribution and a holiday allowance of 8%. We also have flexible working hours. Do you have an appointment planned or do you want to pick up the children from school? No problem, our flexible working hours offer an option for this. As soon as you start installation as an electrician, there are also great career opportunities towards, for example, installation manager or commissioning engineer.
