YOUR ROLE WITHIN RIDDER

As a Service Engineer at Ridder, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to our partners and end users. You will be involved in the installation, maintenance and repair of our control technical installation climate and substrate control in greenhouse (horticulture). You will also play a crucial role in identifying and solving technical problems, working proactively with colleagues to ensure optimal performance. You will visit our (international) customers to provide support there.

The following tasks are part of this position:

• Diagnose and solve control technical installations;
• Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair work;
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement technical solutions;
• Provide technical support to partners, end users and colleagues;
• Documenting work procedures and processes and logging of work performed.

WHAT DO YOU BRING IN ANY CASE?

• Minimum MBO level in measurement and control engineering or Mechatronics;
• Work experience as an installation technician or service technician;
• Command of both Dutch and English in word and writing;
• Customer friendly; it is your drive to help a customer to the most efficient and sustainable solution;
• In possession of a driving license (B) because you will travel independently in your own company car;
• You are willing to travel internationally;
• Improvisational ability, flexible, thorough, careful, neat and accurate work.

WHAT EXTRA DO YOU BRING?

• Practical experience in the field of electrical installations, water treatment units, process automation or measurement and control technology;
• Familiar with the horticultural sector or have affinity with food & flower production;
• You know that from your professionalism you also influence and contribute to customer centric working;
• A healthy dose of humor and team spirit.
