Job description

Come join our team as a Researcher and become part of a dynamic and innovative research department located at Scilifelab. Our research group is dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and exploring new frontiers in the field of fluorescence microscopy. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a talented group of researchers, gaining invaluable experience and contributing to groundbreaking discoveries in the field.

The subject of the position centers around the development and validation of new techniques and tools in the field of fluorescence microscopy. This includes designing and implementing experiments to improve the resolution, accuracy, and sensitivity of fluorescence microscopy, as well as optimizing imaging protocols and developing new functional imaging modalities for specific biological applications. The Researcher will work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team to drive innovation and develop cutting-edge technologies in the field of super-resolution microscopy, with the ultimate goal of advancing our understanding of biological systems and improving human health.

Specifically, the successful candidate will spearhead a research project focused on using smart fluorescent probes to advance fluorescent anisotropy techniques for measurement of rotational diffusivity in biological samples with super-resolution capabilities. Collaboration with other team members will be key to optimizing imaging protocols and tailoring techniques to address specific biological questions.
