Technical product specialist

Are you the Technical product specialist that is ready to join our Marketing & Sales team for all technical challenges and opportunities regarding polyamide 6?

This role offers the opportunity of being part of our new organization which key goal is to create the most optimal customer experience. You act as the first point of contact for our EMEA customers for all technical challenges and opportunities regarding several polyamide 6 product lines. As a technical product specialist you will be involved in both long-term projects (e.g. optimization of product processing, material analysis, product analysis) with customers as well as troubleshooting in case of urgent processing issues. Due to your processing experience you are able to quickly understand and analyze the technical challenges which you thereafter can translate to professional advice and solutions. You will deliver the technical support from the first introduction of new materials, to the onboarding of new customers and maintaining the relationship with our key accounts and distribution partners.

As Technical product specialist you are a member of the Fibrant Marketing & Sales team. You will work closely with the Product sales manager, our R&T team and Quality colleagues. In this role you will be responsible for the technical support for several Polyamide 6 product lines, representing not only HSCC (Highsun) but also her affiliates. The Highsun group is the world’s largest producer of caprolactam and PA6 with a strong ambition to grow its market share in the EMEA region. In this role you will report to the Director Marketing & Sales. You will work both remotely and at our head office in Urmond (The Netherlands). All key facilities are located in Geleen, including warehousing, logistics, customer service, quality and our R&T department . Next to your close collaboration with the European teams you will be regularly in touch with the team in China. Though your job demands a high grade of autonomy you continuously have to align with both internal and external stakeholders. In this role you will be travelling to our customers approximately 50% of your time.

• Obtained strong analytical skills and works in a very structured way.

We are interested to meet candidates who can operate at a Master degrees level (obtained by education or through experience).
