Your traineeship is based on a personal development plan, which focuses on your ambitions and expertise. Within Arvato, we have three types of management focused on the business: Engineering, Account Management and Operational Management. Within 18 months, we take you through these different types of management through different rotations, assignments and workplaces within Arvato. Together with you, we determine which path suits your goals best. We strongly believe that by "being on it" you will discover where your strengths and passions lie!Rotation - Operations (OPS) Manager
During the Operations Manager Rotation, you will be really hands-on! You will focus on operational issues.Your tasks will include: ensuring sustainability within the organization, for example through the LEAN method or by using data-driven analyses. You will also be given a managerial role and will use your management skills on the shop floor. This will give you a good insight into the subjects relevant to operations. Other important task you will be involved in are improving current conditions, processes or business results.
Do you have a hands-on mentality and do you value sustainability, LEAN methodology and process improvement? Then a future as Operations Manager at Arvato will suit you perfectly!
Rotation - Account Manager
During the Account Manager rotation, you will focus on the customer and how we can best work together!You will focus on tasks such as assessing and improving KPIs, performing market analysis or determining the impact of a new product implementation, among others. You will also be involved in stakeholder management. During the traineeship, self reflection is hugely important. At Arvato, the customer is central, so this is an important part of your assignment.
Rotation - Engineering
During the Engineering rotation, you will focus on innovation within the organization!You will have plenty of opportunities to become familiar with LEAN or PRINCE2, with challenges in the areas of project, change or stakeholder management. Your tasks will include designing a new transport system, reorganising existing customers or conducting a feasibility study for new ideas. Are Datadriven and Innovation your focal points? Then a future within the Engineering business unit at Arvato will suit you perfectly!
YOUR CUSTOMIZED PLAN
During an 18-month period, you will dive into the world of Arvato. To tailor the Traineeship, we look at your talents and ambitions.Together with you, we build a traineeship program around your talents and challenges. For example, we look at your experience and level, your way of working and development. Together, we build your future in one of these tracks.
SOFT SKILLS TRAINING
Soft skills are important for every manager. These skills will allow you to make a difference. Everywhere. Reason enough for us to include these soft skills in our traineeship program.You will be challenged and coached by a senior trainer so that you can get the best out of yourself. You reflect regularly through peer review meetings. This will help you discover how your behaviour influences practise and give you insight into how to deal with difficult situations.
HARD SKILLS TRAINING
Basic training is scheduled during the traineeship. This is to ensure that you have the right skills to excel in your job. These hard skills training sessions match the business unit and rotation you are currently on. The program includes legal, LEAN, financial and SAP training, among others. In addition, Arvato offers various training courses that can be followed online or on location.YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Economics or Logistics
- Passionate about Logistics and Leadership
- Permitted to work in The Netherlands
- Flexible
- Hands-on-mentality
- Excellent oral and written skills in English
