Functieomschrijving

Wij zijn een team van drie Nederlanders op een afgelegen locatie in een woestijndorp met een prachtig uitzicht. We dienen de Heer door Arabische Bedoeïenen te helpen met medische en sociale zorg. We hebben een kliniek, doen bezoek- en vrouwenwerk en runnen kinderclubs. Ter versterking van ons team zijn we op zoek naar een man of echtpaar die ons tijdelijk kan helpen met onderhoudswerkzaamheden. Kom jij ons helpen?

• Je komt ons team voor één tot drie maanden versterken, nog in 2023;
• Je helpt de enige man in ons team met diverse onderhoudswerkzaamheden;
• Eén keer per week kom je helpen bij de jongensclub;
• Je krijgt een unieke mogelijkheid om kennis te maken met de lokale cultuur en het werken in een zendingsteam;
• Voor een echtgenote is er ruimte om mee te helpen met meidenclubs en het vrouwenwerk.

Profielomschrijving

• Je bent een echte ‘allround handyman’;
• Je bent bereid om flink de handen uit de mouwen te steken;
• Je bent op korte termijn beschikbaar.

Niveau christendom

Slechts minder dan 1% van de bevolking noemt zich christen.

Leefomstandigheden

Je komt te wonen en werken op een mooie, landelijke locatie. Er is weinig openbaar vervoer, maar er zijn veel mogelijkheden om te wandelen. Er is zelfstandige woonruimte voor je beschikbaar.

Over CAMA Zending
CAMA Zending zendt zowel gemeentewerkers als beroepskrachten uit en ondersteunt lokale gemeentestichters onder onbereikte volken. Zo maken we samen Jezus zichtbaar waar Hij het minst gezien wordt! Doe jij mee?
