Vondel Finance

consists of an enthusiastic and focused team of professionals who have a breadth of experience with strong and relevant track records. The current team of around 15 persons has a proven track record in Corporate Finance, Private Equity and Corporate M&A, a distinguishing element in the market. Backgrounds are with Deloitte, PwC, BDO, Boer & Croon, NPM Capital, Holland Capital and in international Corporate M&A.

The project teams are small and focused, leading to effective communication, high transaction speed and a high level of involvement. Partners have a sector focus, team members are working in different sectors. M&A INTERNSHIP

Vondel Finance

continuously operates with both full-time and thesis interns, for 4 to 6 months. You will become an integral part of a dynamic team of seasoned M&A professionals achieving a steep learning curve in corporate finance. You will get broad exposure to a vast array of industries as well as the opportunity to fully contribute to the successful origination and execution of M&A transactions.

Besides the opportunity to participate as a full-fledged team member, we offer an academy program combining theory from your study with expertise in corporate finance. Successful and talented candidates may be offered the chance to join our firm as full-time analysts.

You are in the final stages of your MSc studies or recently graduated, preferably with a background in (business) economics or related. You have proficiency in both English and Dutch, no 9-to-5 mentality, a hands-on attitude and proven affinity with the financial world.

VACANCY DIRECTOR / MANAGER

Role

As a manager or director you will be working on M&A processes in close cooperation with the responsible partner and one or more junior team members. You will be working on ongoing mandates as well as cooperating in defining, identifying and pitching for new mandates. You will also be working with Clairfield colleagues on international transactions.

You are responsible for the day-to-day operations of several M&A processes, managing all different phases of such processes.
By following your own interests, increasing your knowledge and increasing your network you will be working towards a focus in one of our sectors of interests: TMT, Food & Agri, Cleantech Energy and Sustainability and Business Services.

Function requirements

We are looking for new team members that are ready to make a new step in their career and are willing to contribute to the growth of our team. For the role of director/manager we require a relevant experience of 6-10 years in M&A or Private Equity, an academic background and fluency in both Dutch and English. Other language(s) is a plus.

Role

As an associate you will be working on M&A processes in close cooperation with the responsible partner and, depending on the process, a director and/or a junior team member. You will be working on ongoing mandates and will be in charge of the day-to-day management of the process and the client contact. You will also be working with Clairfield colleagues on international transactions. Additionally, you will be training and mentoring analysts and interns.
