Heart for Health - Amsterdam - 08-06-2022 Naar vacature

H4H ICT - 32-40 hours

Delen:
How does making cool things sound, while contributing to the future of healthcare and IT? As a DevOps engineer, you are part of our platform team and have the opportunity to design, deliver, implement and manage our eHealth platforms. Interested? We are happy to tell you more.

Heart for Health develops IT solutions for high quality and innovative healthcare. Since 2007, we have been building electronic patient records and successfully launching remote healthcare concepts, such as ‘’Hartwacht’’ (it’s still Dutch yes). We have a team of more than 50 colleagues in the Netherlands and another 40 colleagues in Macedonia.

About the job

As a member of our platform team, you contribute to the development and implementation of new features of our electronic patient record MedicalPortal. You are the beating heart of our organization because you lift our processes and infrastructure to a higher level with your work. Because of automatic solutions concerning CI/CD and Docker, our fellow developers are able to develop more effectively. You are responsible for a stable infrastructure and requiring the safety requirements, so that the processes are supported safely and optimally.

As a link between the various team members, you are given a lot of space to give substance to this role. We work with two week sprints with an unallocated backlog. This position is a mix of operational support for our development teams, such as implementations and problem solving, and continuously automating and optimizing our CI/CD pipeline through innovative solutions. A great job if we may say so!

Think this is you?

You have strong analytical skills and you enjoy trying and inventing new things. Not unimportant, we are of course also looking for a nice colleague who, just like us, likes to contribute to better IT for healthcare. We are also looking for someone with:

General knowledge of Kubernetes (for the implementations), Docker (containerization), Google cloud platform (or any other cloud platform as the starting point is the same), Networking and CI/CD tooling;

Operational knowledge of Java basics (for supporting implementations, tenants and troubleshooting), Keycloak basics and Pub/sub basics;
Knowledge of Terraform (for infrastructure automation), GitOps (argocd or other tooling) and Python/shell script (for script automation);
  • A residents permit to live and work in the Netherlands;
Nice to have, but not necessary: Knowledge of security implementation at Cloud and Kubernetes level and advanced knowledge of Kubernetes on topics such as availability and service mesh tooling.

What's in it for you?

Our organization is growing fast, and so is your own personal development. At Heart for Health you can expect a lot of freedom, responsibility and of course fun if you like. In addition to a suitable salary and an attractive pension scheme at ‘’Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn’’, we offer you the following:

29 vacation days (based on full-time employment);
A mobile phone with a subscription that you can also use privately. Of course you also get a laptop;
A NS Business Card or travel allowance;
The possibility to follow training courses, courses and education;
GT nights, card rides and other fun activities. Extra fun if you like to organize any of these things, but no must of course.

Interested?

We look forward to meeting you! We will carefully review your application and you will know within two weeks whether we will invite you for a job interview and an assessment. If you would like to know more about this role, please contact Julia Makhmoudova at j.makhmoudova@heartforhealth.com or by phone at 06-52848309.

Because you may come into contact with medical data in this position, applying for a VOG and a short CV check is part of the application procedure.
We recruit our own people. No acquisition needed, thank you!
