About the vacancy:

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park opened in November 2022 and is our first 5-star hotel. The hotel is located in the green Oosterpark in Amsterdam East. The hotel has already won several awards and achieved a #1 ranking on TripAdvisor within a year and 3 months of opening, leaving behind more than 400 other hotels in the Dutch capital.

The ambitions for this hotel are high! Therefore, we are looking for talented colleagues who only want to be among the very best, including a front of house manager.

What are you going to do?

At Pillows Hotels we want create special moments as much as possible. We want guests to feel better than at home.
As a front office supervisor, you are inextricably linked with the experience of the guest and you make sure that every moment with the guest is unforgettable. You manage a team of front office host to create memorable experiences with them and for them. You lead by example and you work closely together with the Front of House Manager to support the daily operation. During absence of higher management you are the manager on duty. The contact that you have is friendly and warm, but never too business-like or jovial.

Who are you?

1. You have a passion for hospitality and it’s natural
2. You are organized and take care of things in detail
3. You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the front office department in the role of Senior Receptionist, supervisor or comparable;
4. You have knowledge about Amsterdam and its surroundings
5. You speak Dutch and English, multiple languages are a plus
6. You are able to work during the day, evening and weekend
