Destinus is searching for a recent graduate or early career engineer to join our R&D and Engineering department as an electrical engineer. Tasks
In this position you, under the guidance of the senior electrical engineer, will be responsible for the electrical design of the various sub-systems of our gas turbine generator sets. This includes generator, UCP, MCC, fuel supply, starting system, filtration and ventilation system, lube oil system as well as electrical equipment attached to the turbine.- Participation in customer projects and execute electrical design and engineering tasks
- Execution of tasks to support the development of our current and new products
- Creation of project specific documentation (specifications, wiring diagrams, reports etc)
- Processing of as-built and as-installed information
- Driving your own internal improvements projects, such as standardization of our electrical drawings and documents
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders and provide technical expertise to customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Important competences are: Written and verbal communication skills, Results-driven, Initiative, Knowledge, Problem solving
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent)
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Hands-on experience with E-plan would be an advantage.
- Important competences are: hands-on approach, team work, accuracy;
- Fluent in spoken and written English
